Bubble Writing Means More & Poor Huntsmen Invented Sedentary Behaviour, 90cm x 65cm
A collage that combines all sorts of words, phrases, symbols, hopes, dreams and memories it has long been my ambition to include this in a future exhibition - an intention that still holds water. One of my most detailed excavations into my present being, this was a drawing that was slow cooked over a good 12 months and flew to and from the States while on residency in 2018.
The recording of a life lived between 2017-18, as well as including a great sticker which I bought while traveling in Thailand the piece also includes a lock of my hair taped to the piece after I shaved it off for the first time in years in 2017. This is somehow the resonance of a spiritual breakthrough (of sorts : )
In excellent need of creative framing which can be arranged.
Ink, electrical tape, my hair, posca, ink, acrylic, glitter tape on van Gelder acid-free drawing paper, 180g
